If you haven’t noticed already, we are experiencing some critical speedcube stock shortages at the moment, due to the fact that global logistics have all but ground to a halt 😩
The main issue at the moment is getting goods out of China, the reality of which means there’s not a lot we can do from over here. I currently have 2x large orders of speed cubes which are just sitting on a warehouse floor in China awaiting collection by the courier.
I guess I can take a little solace in the fact that the entire WORLD is dealing with the same issues right now, but for a small speedcube business like mine that relies on having stock here in NZ, and a customer base that relies on quick shipping and availability of products, the pressure is particularly acute!
I’m working hard with my partners in Australia at speedcube.com.au to plug the gaps while we wait for the Chinese orders to move, and to make sure that we at least have the basics covered in what is meant to be the busiest time of year 🤦♂️
I know that this info is not ideal, but unfortunately it’s just reality this Christmas.
In the meantime, to help support the store and as a backup plan, you can of course buy gift cards!
