Are you shipping from China?

No! All our stock is kept right here in New Zealand - in Lyttelton, Christchurch in fact! If it says it's in stock, it's in stock right here and ready to ship. The only exception to that rule is whan an item is on pre-order, which leads us onto the next question...

How do pre-orders work?

If an item is new and hasn't arrived here yet, or if an item has run out of stock before new supplies have landed here, then I will often put that product on pre-order. I will use the information from my import shipping company to keep the item description update with the most accurate arrival date I can.

Rest assured that if an item is showing as pre-order, then I have placed and paid for an order for that item with the supplier. I don't take risks with pre-orders!

If you pre-order an item along with in-stock items, then all items will ship together once the pre-order items arrive.

How long does shipping take?

Within New Zealand we ship using Courierpost tracked. This means that once items leave here they will typically arrive the next business day. If you are rural then it can often take another day.

I ship items every weekday morning.

Of course we are at the mercy of a third party once your items leave here, but Courierpost have great after sales service and you can always get in touch with me if you are having issues.

Every order is given a tracking number when the shipping is generated and the tracking is sent to you automatically.

What happened to your retail store?

Unfortunately due to the compounding effects of the Covid pandemic, our retail store was forced to shut in August 2022. I have no plans to open another one.
