14 Day Return and Refund Policy

Speedcube.co.nz wants you to be thrilled with your new purchase! If you are not fully satisfied, you can return your undamaged cube in the original packaging to us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.

To process the return, please email us at help@speedcube.co.nz to request a return. Your cube must be returned in its original packaging (undamaged), including any accessories, manuals, and documentation. We cannot accept 'used or disassembled' cubes. Ain't nobody got time for that.

"Pops"

We are unable to offer refunds or replacements for "popped" cubes, i.e. cubes that have popped out or ejected a piece.

Pops are a normal part of cubing, especially on even number NxN cubes, larger register cubes in general and obscure non-wca cubes, and rebuilding cubes is an important skill to learn!

For assistance please visit the tutorials page for instructional videos. If there's a video you need that isn't there yet, then please let me know and I'll try my best to make one :)

The reason I don't offer exchanges or refunds is that 99% of pops are a normal part of cubing, and there's a good chance that if your first cube popped the replacement will too.

Breakages as a result of mods

Taking apart, dismantling or otherwise deconstructing a cube to make modifications voids your warranty. Threading cores, losing parts or breaking bits or any other results of doing things to puzzles that they are not designed for (i.e. their primary purpose, solving) will void your warranty. 

Exchange

If we were at fault (e.g. sent you the wrong cube), we will exchange and cover all shipping costs.

If you ordered the wrong cube, you can return with postage at your own expense, and we will exchange and charge you for shipping plus or minus any difference in the item cost. Please email us at help@speedcube.co.nz to request and arrange exchange. Exchange at your fault is subject to stock availability and may result in delays.

Print on Demand Clothing

Unless otherwise stated in the product description, our clothing is manufactured on demand in a fulfilment centre in Australia and shipped separately from other items in your order. 

Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 30 days after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense.

We do not offer returns for buyer's remorse or for occasions when the wrong size is ordered. Sizing charts are provided for all print on demand items, and care should be taken when ordering to order the correct size, and especially when ordering for growing children or teens, a size up from your usual size should be considered.
