Our Pre-Order Policy and Promise

Our Pre-Order Policy and Promise

Speedcube NZ and AU Pre-Order Policy

I've gotten into a habit of writing "we" when I write anything on here, despite the fact I'm the only staff member! šŸ¤£ But this is important, and I want you to feel like I'm talking to you personally, so here goes!

It's my belief that relationships are built on a foundation of trust, and as my customers, IĀ am obliged to offer you the utmost trust when I take your money in return for a product which isĀ not currently in stock and sold as a pre-order.

AfterĀ all, ifĀ you can't trust me, why would you come back?!

It's forĀ this reason that I will not offer any product on pre-order that has not already been ORDERED and PAID FOR by me. This guarantees that you are going to get what you paid for, for the price advertised within the timeframe I've laid outĀ inĀ theĀ item's description.

This means that I won't always be the first to offer a product on pre-order, but I will 100% be able to fulfil any pre-orders listed on my site.*

"But Mike" I'm sure you're saying "This is boring. Why are you telling me this?"

Well, the fact of the matter is that we've recently seen the abrupt closure of a large speedcube store that was well known for taking pre-orders and not fulfilling them for prolonged periods, especially in the last 6 months.

While people have been able toĀ haveĀ these orders fulfilled afterĀ chasing customer service, that's not true for everyone, and it'sĀ possible that this has damaged customer expectations around pre-orders, and I felt like it was a good time to beĀ really clear about how I do things here.

Bottom line, if you're placing a pre-order with me, I'm not banking on your money to get theĀ product. I've already bought it, it's on it's way, and you're guaranteed to receive it.Ā

Thanks for sticking with my cool story and reading to the end! I appreciate your time :)

Have fun, solve cubes.

Mike
